Here is my card:
For my creation this week I am very excited to say that I got to play with some absolutely fabulous papers that were very generously supplied by The Paper Temptress! And all I can say is, WOW! These papers are truly fabulous! I have never had such amazing results while embossing...and got so excited about it I actually used my Cuttlebug quite a bit for this little birthday card! Also, the amazing challenge that Roberta came up with this week for Fairy Fun Friday is to use a tree branch somewhere on your project! Definitely one of the neatest challenges I have had with a DT so far...and definitely fun! I loved the challenge and incorporating nature into my project! What I decided to do was forage in my backyard for that perfectly shaped/sized twig and then make a little party banner for my card! I simply hand cut some triangles, folded them over, and glued them in place. Then glued my little twig banner down as well! This is where my new fav adhesive, Aileen's Fast Grab Tacky Glue, came in VERY handy!

I started out with one of The Prairie Fairy's adorable images, Helen Hippo. You can find Helen at Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps right HERE! The moment I see her I just knew I had to play with her...especially since this cute lil' digital stamp reminded me of my little sister, who passed away nearly 10 years ago. She absolutely loved hippos and anything purple! I used my Prisma pencils to color the image and I added Stickles by Ranger to her darling crown. I also added some clear Studio G glitter glue to Helen's little toes! I used my Cuttlebug folders - Divine Swirls & Swiss Dots - for the embossing, as well as did some emboss and cut with the Cuttlebug as well. I used Studio G ink to bring out the dots on the lilac paper, which was from my stash. Which is why I fell so in love with the paper that The Paper Temptress sent me. The image embossed so deeply and the shading was spectacular. I didn't need to do anything else to it to make it stand out more. I am so excited to use some more of her product that she sent me! The patterned paper I used is Pink Paislee & My Mind's Eye. Oh, the ribbon is American Crafts, the brads by Making Memories, and I used some from pop dots from my stash.

Whew! I hope you enjoyed your visit here with me! You next stop along the crumb trail is
Rachel!
Go to the challenge blog to see what's up for grabs! I hear there are gift certificates worth $15 available at both Prairie Fairy & The Paper Temptress! So, get those entries in there ladies!

And now for my candy! I have some cool & fun Studio G Fresh Flocking up for grabs, along with a cute Studio G clear stamp set! All you need to do to win is become a follower and leave me a comment! And, if you want to post my candy on your blog, I would appreciate it - but it is not a requirement! My candy will run until midnight Thursday, May 6, and I will draw the winner & post on Friday, May 7th. So what are you waiting for? Let's get hoppin'!

Owl Keep Prayin' for You! 2 Cute Tuesdays!

Hey y'all! Back again today with another 2 Cute Rubber Stamp DT post! Just wanted to share with y'all a cute and easy card I whipped up using the Best of Friends Owl digi and a Page Maps card sketch!

I love owls so I naturally fell in love with this stamp the first time I seen it! And this sentiment I printed out with my computer was just perfect for a friend of mine, too! I used my Prisma pencils to color the image and all of the patterned paper is DCWV, while the cardstock is Bazill. The scallop punch & ink are by SU, the jute is from the $ Tree, and the pop dots are from my stash. I also used my fav adhesive at the moment, Aileen's Fast Grab Tacky Glue, to get the jute down good and fast. Definitely recommend this glue to anyone! Perfect for thick or unruly items you want to stay in place and that you don't want to spend time holding it there! I also added some Modge Podge Dimensional Magic to the owl's glasses and I LOVED how it turned out! I only wish it showed up better in the photos!

Please take the time to hop on over to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT site for some wonderful inspiration! And remember to check out the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps store too! All of Heidi's images come three ways: digi, cling cushion, and wood mounted! Plus, all wood mounted stamps are marked 50% off! Definitely a terrific sale! Happy Scrappin'!

Snips & Snails! Fairy Fun Friday Challenge!

Hey y'all! Hope everyone is having a great Saturday! I am back with another Fairy Fun Fridays challenge card to show ya! It is a little late because we have a sick fur baby...he has a badly sprained left elbow. Poor thing! He is laying on the couch by me now as I post...won't leave my side! At least the pain meds the vet gave him seem to be helping. Just praying for a speedy recovery for our sweet Sid!

So, this week the fab Roberta gave us the challenge of distressing on our projects. This has to be one of my favorite techniques and I tend to do it on a lot of my projects! So easy and I always love the effect! This sweet little snail is called Snail's Tale and is from Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps and you can find him right HERE! I have had my eye on this little guy for quite awhile and, since I needed a new baby boy card, this was the perfect image! I colored him using my Prisma pencils and pop dotted him for the 3-D effect. All of the patterned papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Joy Ride collection, and the cardstock is CTMH. I tore the edges of my papers and then used some fun orange Studio G ink to add some extra oomph! The ribbon is by Basic Grey and I printed the sentiment on my computer, but can't remember the name of the font for the life of me! All I do know is that I love this font!

Hop on over to the Fairy Fun Fridays site to check out all the DT inspiration and play along with us...there are always great prizes and GDT's to be won! Also, check out Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps...Roberta just added some new images this week and they are just wonderful! Happy Scrappin'!

2 Cute Happy Birthday!

Hey y'all! It's Tuesday so I am back again with another 2 Cute Rubber Stamps post! This adorable little digi stamp is called LolliHop and you can find the cutie right HERE! I just love the stamp and the name...adorable! This is a pretty simple birthday card, and other than the Dimensional Magic drying time, can be whipped up in less than a half hour. Not too shabby, I think!

First I colored the 2 Cute image using my Prisma pencils and Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pens. I then used my Ranger Stickles on the lollipop. After it dried, I did two coats of Dimensional Magic by Modge Podge, with several hours drying time in between. I then cut the lollipop out and popdotted it, adding a ribbon, to give the 3 dimensional effect. The patterned paper is by MME & Daisy D's, the cardstock is Bazill, the pink ribbon is AC, and I used some Stamp Craft ink to distress my edges. I also used my SU scalloped border punch and my Cricut Paper Pups cart for the sentiment. The blue ribbon & pink rhinestone are from my stash. I also used my fav adhesive at the moment, Aileen's Fast Grab Tacky Glue...which is perfect for everything you want to stick down quickly and permanently. I just love it!

If you have a moment, hop on over to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Design Team blog and check out all the wonderful work that is posted! Also, stop by the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps store and check out all of Heidi's amazing stamps! They come three ways: digi, cling, and wood mounted so you can't go wrong! Happy Scrappin'!

Oh Happy Day!

Well, I am definitely having a happy day today and thought I would share the news with y'all! It has been a pretty rough week at the workplace and to finish off the week like this makes it all better!

Today happens to be my birthday...officially the big 33! And the day was made even more special by the fact that I won a challenge & was picked a Top 5 for two separate cards I entered this past week! I made the Hand Full of Stamps Handy 5 for my Beary Happy Birthday card, which used a Prairie Fairy Digital Stamp. And, I won an amazing prize pack from Etsy Inspired Challenge with my Sweet Turtle Sundae card that used a 2 Cute Rubber Stamps digi image! How cool is that?!

And, I also was one of 5 winners over at Modge Podge Rocks for a new product, Modge Podge Dimensional Magic! It is similar to the crystal effects stuff and I can't wait to use it. Plus, yep, it came in the mail today...on my birthday! Totally psyched to play with it!

I am so very happy and just want to say thanks here on my blog! If you have a chance, check out all of these awesome sites...you won't regret it! Happy Scrappin'!

Fairy Fun Friday...Thinking of You

Hey y'all! Got another Fairy Fun Friday challenge card (and another gatefold card!) to show off! First though, I just want to say that I totally blew the challenge part! This week the DT challenge was to create a card with eyelets and string. As you can see, there are not any eyelets or string on my projects! I completely forgot when I was making the card and as it was a much needed card for someone at work, it is already gone! No opportunity to throw on a few eyelets or anything so please forgive me!

Okay...so this week I decided to play with one of Roberta's fabulous new images, Honey Beary, from her Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps line. I absolutely love her bear stamps! They are so sweet and cute...plus this set just won my heart! I colored the fab lil' bear & the lil' beehive home with my Prisma pencils and Copic Atyou Spica Glitter pens. The paper is SU, as is the sentiment, and the cardstock is SU & AC. The ribbon is by Fiskars, the flowers are The Paper Studio, Petaloo, & Prima, and the adhesive paper trim is Flair Designs. I also used some glittered skittles from my stash and some pop dots for dimension. I also used Aileen's Fast Tack glue, which I am totally in love with lately! It is perfect for flowers and other items that I want to hold fast & firm without having a lot of dimension! And definitely inexpensive too! You totally have to check it out!

I hope you take the time to hop on over to the Fairy Fun Friday blog and check out all the awesome creations the DT made! We would love it if you joined us too! And also check out Roberta's awesome Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps store. She has such amazing digi stamps to choose from and great prices too! Happy Scrappin'!

2 Cute Tuesdays! Sweet Turtle Sundae!

Hey y'all! Back again with another 2 Cute post for ya! This is a gatefold card I created using a 2 Cute Rubber Stamps digi image titled, Turtle Sundae. Isn't he adorable?! I just love the little sundae he is toting on his back! 2 Cute!

I colored Heidi's lil' guy using my Prisma pencils and some Stickles on the sundae. The patterned papers are by SU & Making Memories, and the cardstock is American Crafts - as is the ribbon. The adhesive paper trim is by Flair Designs, the adhesive softie button is by KI Memories, the flowers are Prima, the chipboard is K&Co., used some StazOn to make the letters stand out some. The vintage button, orange button, and thread are from my stash. I made the little felt flower and I also used some pop dots to give the digi some dimension.

I hope you take the chance to hop on over to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Design Team blog and check out all the work that has been created. There are some really cute cards there for inspiration! And, check out the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Etsy store too! All of Heidi's stamps come three ways: digi, cling cushion, & wood mounted! Plus, all her wood mounted stamps are marked 50% off! Sweet Best Friend - Fairy Fun Friday Inspiration Challenge

Welcome back to another Fairy Fun Friday post! This week the challenge Roberta gave us was to use this photo for color inspiration. I decided to focus on all the lovely pinks that were in the photo and came up with this sweet little card for a friend's birthday!

I started with one of Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps' adorable images...Lazy Boxer Beary. Isn't it a cutie! I just love all the new bear releases Roberta has created and you can get this lil' gal (or guy!) right HERE. I colored her using my Primas and Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pens, and also added some Stickles to make her slippers fuzzy and sparkly. The paper is Pink Paislee & American Crafts and the cardstock is Bazill & The Paper Studio. The wire ribbon is from Wal-Mart and the little silver string is recycled from a candy package. The stone word is by Sticko and the sentiment is by Studio G. The black ink is Staz On & the magenta ink is Studio G. I also added a little pom pom to her boxers...wanted them to be extra fabulous! lol! Oh, and I also used my Cricut Mini Monograms cart for the circles and scalloped circle.

Head on over to Fairy Fun Fridays to play along with the challenge and check out the rest of the DT's work...it is awesome! And don't forget to check out Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps too for some amazing images and a terrific rewards sale on every purchase! Happy Scrappin'!

2 Cute Tuesdays - Life's a Beach!

Hey y'all! It is 2 Cute Tuesday time! I am super excited to be a part of the awesome 2 Cute Design Team and I can't wait to share all my crafty creations with you! For my very first 2 Cute creation I fell in love with this adorable little digi image, Happy Crabby! Isn't he just 2 Cute?!

I colored the lil' crab using my Prisma's and then used my Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pens for the sand and some detailing. The patterned paper is The Paper Studio, as is the cardstock, and MME. I used my Cricut and the Paper Pups cart to cut the sun, which I inked with Studio G ink. I printed my sentiment on the computer using the Curlz MT font and then used some KI Memories ink on the edges. I am proud to say that this card was made entirely from scraps and various items from my stash, such as the jute, buttons, chipboard beach ball, & pop dots. I will say that I got the jute from the Dollar Tree a few years ago and it lasts forever! Definitely a great buy!

Fairy Fun Friday Texture Challenge!

Hey y'all! It's that time again...for the Fairy Fun Friday challenge brought to you by the Prairie Fairy! The fabulous Roberta asked us DT members to create a project using texture this week! Now, don't you just love it when something you are working on just comes together in no time fast and turns out right...well, that is exactly what happened to me while making this card! I knew exactly what I wanted to do and it just all came together like I wanted!

The Prairie Fairy has been on a roll lately and has released a ton of new digital images in her store! One of those images is this adorable guy, called Fisher Beary, ...isn't he cute?!! She has three other new bear images too...so check them all out HERE! I colored the digital stamp with my Prisma's and used my black Spica (again, thanks Kelly!) for the fishing line and a few other accents. I am totally loving these pens! As I have been trying to make a habit of doing lately, I rummaged all the products from my stash...some that I have had for years! For the texture I used some corrugated cardboard that I believe is by The Paper Studio. The patterned paper is from the Dollar Tree, as well as the jute. Oh, and the brown and orange cardstock is Bazill...scraps at that! I used some Stamp Craft cofee ink to distress and did some tearing on my papers as well. The sentiment I just printed off on my computer...hubby's birthday is Monday and this is the card TJ will be giving him Sunday when we do our family get together for Easter and Andy's birthday. He turns the big 3-8! LOL!

I just want to thank all of my awesome crafty friends for always leaving me some love and checkin' out my blog! It totally means a lot to me and I am so glad I know each and every one of you! God has brought me many wonderful friends and opportunities through my crafting and I feel so blessed! And, if you have a moment, please stop by the Fairy Fun Friday challenge blog and look at the other DT members' work! We would love to hear from you and it would be terrific if you would play along too! Roberta has some awesome prizes she is giving away! And, don't forget to check out Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps too! Roberta has a Fairy Special Rewards program where you can save on your entire purchase! You will definitely want to take advantage of it! Happy Scrappin!
