Home Is Where the Heart Is...

Hey y'all! Hope everyone has been enjoying some fabulous early spring weather like we have. Seriously, it has been just beautiful in central Oklahoma lately! And like I told y'all earlier, all this lovely weather has put me in a springy-type of crafting mood. So here I am again this week sharing a spring inspired project for Your Memories Here! I don't do much mixed media type art, but this week I thought - bring it on!

I decided to create a wall hanging using some wonderful Prima products. I just love, love, love this paper!! YMH has a fabulous selection of Prima papers, ribbon, bling, stamps, kits and more that you can check out RIGHT HERE! I did use a template for the house, but all the items are hand cut and I had so much fun creating. It really got me out of the craft funk I've been in and helped re-energize my mojo! I'm also thinking that I might create a pretty wreath and use this in the center of it. Not sure yet, but if I do, I'll make sure to share it with y'all! Oh, and are those two lil' chip board birdies covered with music notes not darling?!

Patterned Paper/Flowers/Rhinestones - Prima
Distress Ink - Tim Holtz/Ranger
 Tiny Type - Cosmo Cricket
Cardstock - The Paper Studio
Letter Stickers - Echo Park
Chipboard Embellishments - American Crafts
Large Chipboard Heart - Heidi Swapp
Ribbon - May Arts
Baker's Twine - The Twinery
Scallop Punch - Stampin' Up
Adhesive - Glue Glider Pro, Pop Dots, Aileen's Fast Grab Tacky Glue

Well, I hope you liked my project and it inspires you to create some crafty goodness of your own. In the meantime, hop on over to the YMH DT Blog for even more terrific inspiration HERE. And for some great prices on amazing goodies, check out the YMH Store RIGHT HERE. You will be so happy that you did! Well, I'm off to juggle the rest of the week and try to get some crafting in too. My mother had knee replacement surgery, I've got a parent/teacher conference tonight, kiddo is still having physical therapy on his shoulder, the hubby's big 4-0 birthday is Thursday and then the entire family is coming for Easter...whew! Ya know, sometimes life just isn't the same (or as fun!) unless it's crazy - LOL! ;0)
Until next time, Happy Crafting!!

Hey y'all! I'm back again this week, how about that?! LOL! Anyway, I'm here to share with you the LO I mentioned earlier that I'd been working on for weeks. I've just had it sitting on my craft room desk & I finally made myself pick up where I left off. I just love Crate Paper's Snow Day Collection & this LO uses just 3 sheets of their awesome paper, which I happened to pick up for a $1.50 at Hobby Lobby's Basket Market. Seriously, if you have HLBM near you, you must go - there are so many great paper crafting bargains there! Plus, this collection was just perfect to scrap this photo of our son & fur baby enjoying some winter weather!

Pardon the Interruption....

Hey y'all! Hope everyone is doing well! Just wanted to take a moment to pop in and beg for your forgiveness for this new brief absence. Right now I'm at my momma's house using her laptop because not only is our laptop experiencing some difficulties, but our broadband modem has bit the dust. So frustrating!! I think we are all going a little loco not having an internet connection. Hopefully though we should be back up and running by the weekend (i hope!) and I will more than likely be posting my Your Memories Here project later on from my momma's computer as well. Until then, bare with me and know that I'm craftin' and thinkin' of y'all - cause you are awesome!!!!

Hey y'all! I'm back again to share another Your Memories Here project with ya - this one a super cute & easy, upcyled DIY organizer for your craft room! I had originally planned to share a Valentine project, but decided some of y'all might need a break from all the lovey dovey crafts out there - especially today.
